  • I'm sure this is a simple fix, but I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to exclude music from the speeding up/slowing down of timescale. I tried Set Object Time Scale but audio does not appear in there. Any suggestions?

  • I know it is frustrating, I have spent a lot of time angry at cocoonjs over the last year. I don't think a "working capx" will help you, it sounds like the issue is somewhere else.

Some things to check based on my own experiences and stupid mistakes:

    Did you export as cocoonjs?

Did you upload the zip file to a host and type the path correctly? Including the .zip at the end?

Are you using latest update of launcher?

If you can, click the fps once it starts and see if there is an error.

Try compiling your zip using the cloud compiler and see if you can run the game in xcode.

You can now export as html5 and use cocoonjs as well, but the features from the cocoonjs plugin don't work:

    Good luck!

  • You have to update the Bundle Identifier, Version, and Build. When you launch xcode proj, click on your app name under Targets (on left side of white area of window), then in General tab you can update that info. Bundle identifier should be com.companyname.gamename like you did when you set up in iTunes Connect. Make sure version matches what is in itunes connect as well.

  • Oh cool, I thought this thread was dead! No, we haven't met yet, I couldn't find many local people here. I am now based near Lowell and have a space we could meet at, but where would be a good area for you guys?

  • When deploying software to multiple platforms, there is no easy one button solution. Each platform you are targeting is going to require a few unique steps no matter what, like signing etc, once you do them a few times it becomes easy. A few mouse clicks and waiting a couple of minutes is not a big deal for me, I think there are more important areas for Scirra to focus on like multiplayer

  • Spec Ops!! Come to my game jam Matt, it should be at the end of March in Lowell, there is an audio prize

  • I am looking for someone to fix the car physics behavior. I need it to work with latest version of C2, with Cocoonjs and with minify script turned on. Currently it requires minify script to be turned off and is not working when tested with cocoonjs.

I contacted the original developer but he never got back to me about it. Let me know what you will charge to update this, and we can also post the updated version on the forum for others to use when completed.

    Thanks!

  • We put together a quick Christmas themed game called Run Run Santa, now available on Google Play and Amazon App Store, iOS version will be available this week!

  • We had Slendercam initially rejected because of this screen shot:<img src="http://www.asininegames.com/screenshots/SlendyReject.jpg" border="0" />

Apparently you have to have straps on your dresses.

  • The ball is in ludei's court for CocoonJS to work with Spriter, they need to add XML parsing I believe. I posted in the forum there to remind them it is needed. That's the only thing holding us back from using Spriter, it looks great.

  • With r127 I get an error in cocoonjs as well:

JavaScript Exception (Line 1734 File: 'c2runtime.js') ReferenceError:Can't find variable: createCocoonJSRuntime

Note: In r126 I was getting missing sprite errors with cocoonJS, so I updated to r127 to see if that would help and got the c2runtime.JS issue

  • I believe there are some inconsistent audio issues with Cocoojs and Android:

  • Here is a sample contract I found through IGDA that is a decent starting point if you are doing it yourself. You need to remove the watermark in Word but the red text/highlights will show you what to replace.
