  • Just tested this new feature, it's fine - it works, but 2 questions...

Is there an option to update the promotional images?

And Can I delete a game?

  • I have the same problem with the update I published of Twitty Pong.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • This is probably a stupid question, but how do I use the plugin? I've downloaded the zip file, now what do I do?

  • Cool game, it has a Christmasy feel, its nicer to give than receive. lol

    I only deliverer 4 presents :)

  • Never ending game, how are you supposed to win?

  • Played the game and did the survey, unfortunately the game crashed 2 twice and gave up. Well done for producing the game, not bad apart form the crashing :)

  • Nice game, the graphics are awesome! How did you achieve that look did you hand draw any of it?

  • I like this concept, I'm thinking about how you did it and how useful is this going to be in producing other games? With work this could be something like angry birds.

  • LOL I did exactly the same thing, maybe that's the point of the secret room... to stay secret <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Thank you Yann,

Missed the previous post that had the same thing, I did search the forums and goggled to find the algorithm for doing the same thing with vectors, then got confused! So I asked if anyone had solved this and you had <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

I went on to implement your solution for the game, here is the demo again: http://weedkiller.atomace.com/

    Thanks once again,

    Aron

  • Nice game, innovative design, hope your wife liked as much as we did :)

  • Hi guys,

I'm working on a platform game (named Weed Killer) and need an enemy shooting AI algorithm. So far the forums have not had what I need and the internet provides some formulas for vectors but could not work out how to implement it in Construct2. Has anyone worked this out so far?

Here is a link to what I have so far... WeedKiller.AtomAce.com

This is what I wan to do...

Have our player who can run and jump,

and an evil green cacti monster who is static and shoots some pinkish orbs at our player.

    I welcome your advice <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • Hi I'm Aron,

I've only been programming for 3 years; the original goal being making games. So I experimented first with JavaScript, then move onto Visual Basic, C++, Java, Python and Ruby. Finally after watching a Video from the Google I/O 2009 Keynote about html5, I decided that building games on the web was the way to go. I liked the idea of developing html5 games because it is low cost, cross platform and I could use my skills in JavaScript.

The only problem with developing html5 games was there were no good libraries or game engines witch console and pc developers had the luxury of. So developing html5 games was became a long and laborious process where you were forced to reinvent the wheel.

Although I was wiling to develop my own solution, I never had the time to write the engine or code library. Today I am pleased to have discovered that Scirra have done all the hard work with Construct! So now we can just get on with making games <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle">

I am looking forward to putting Construct2 to the test with developing games and apps.
