  • AnD4D - not all games and situations benefit from collision cells. For some situations this method is better.

Jase00 - it's checking once per second to make the effect obvious - I didn't mean that people should only check for collisions once per second.

  • An exception was thrown rendering this comment. Engineers will fix this shortly!
  • I think it means direct x 9 needs to be updated. Keep in mind having dx10 or higher does not mean dx9 is up to date, and even if it looks like you have the latest version of dx9, you might not, as microsoft keeps updating dx9 and keeping the same version number.

  • Ashley - couldn't this whole problem be solved by making tiles overlap by 2 pixels, or a user adjustable amount?

  • I've heard intel has some tools to encapsulate all the files into one exe, but I'm not sure where they are.

  • I don't suppose there's something like node webkit out there that uses Firefox instead? I've looked but haven't found anything yet...

  • C2 already basically has 'sub families' - you can just put an object in multiple families.

  • The problem is because you're trying to send an expression as a string - you should just send the numbers.

    [TEXT] Set font color to : rgb(servervalue1, servervalue2, servervalue3)

Or store the result of rgb(0,64,255) (you can check it at runtime) to the server and retrieve that instead.

  • It might actually not be that bad - from wikipedia's page on the company that produced that statistic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net_Applications

    [quote:18id7dn2]Criticism

While the statistics released by the company routinely place Operating Systems sold by Microsoft (Windows) and Apple (Mac OS X) with a high market share in the desktop computer category (through 2013), Vincent Vizzaccaro (EVP - Marketing and Strategic Alliances, Net Applications, 2002-) has stated that Microsoft and Apple are among the company's clients.[2] The company has also admitted that their statistics are skewed.[3] These admissions and the fact the company doesn't make their data sources or processing methods public, has led many to criticize the company (e.g.[4]); questioning their impartiality and the reliability of their statistics.

Checking other sources, steam claims about 10.55% of their users are on those systems, and another source for web browsing stats claims about 16.8%.

That's still a large percentage though...
