  • Is your projectile origin set approprietly?

  • If I understand well, it is more a compatibility with graphic card driver problem than a problem with C2 itself, I know that is problematic, but this reminds me something, not sure everyone encounter this kind of problem before:

When you buy a PC game at a store, on the box, there are a configuration list, to know if you can/can't play the game at all, or how well it will play.

Maybe, it is possible to make a program/Page that check if the game is compatible, and if not, how to make it better (@Ashley like the scirra mark, but for PC, could this be possible?), also, if you want to check if an executable will eventually work on a PC (and mobile phone maybe?), why not also make a Demo of the game

EDIT: also, a compatibility mode, if it is not to hard to implement, can be good as well (les/no particles, less effects, etc...)

  • Also, you can keep a/several copy/ies of your license file on a USB or any support, If you are the only one using it.

  • cmilian Sad to hear this, I hope that Construct 2 one day, will compensate for that (aka: that you will gain more than what you spent)

  • :

Really good so far, maybe a little complaint I have about the lack of shooting animation while in the air, but:

"Animation is NOT being given much work right now, I'm focusing on the moviment mechanics."

So, yeah, that is great, keep it on

  • the method I used was to set a black layer in front, with the XOR blend mode, then the light are on the black layer and uses the destination out blend mode, hope that helps

  • The layer is of the same color as the Grey background of the webpage it seems, not sure how to bypass that

  • Not sure you gain performances (since all pictures are uncompressed before be used)

But yes, smaller pictures are good for smaller download

  • for me, I can't tell if I have PM, in fact, If I have 0 PM, I have the "Inbox (0)"

    If I have one, I see:"Inbox (System.Web.UI.WebControls.Literal)"

I guess System.Web.UI.WebControls.Literal don't mean 1 in any language, so, I think it is a bug

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I think, on your actions, you should do:

    Set lives to -1

    Restart Layout

in this order, or else, the layout is restarted before, so the conditions are

  • sbucci : That is scary :/

And since this game isn't his creation, I think Ashley or Tom can make something against that.

    But that scares me

  • spikegotti : Did you substract the live Before restarting or just after?

  • Did you try the Option "Fullscreen in browser :" for different values?

EDIt: it is on the project proprities

  • You can add the physics behavior Immovable:yes to the wall, and your shuriken should natturally bounce

  • For my personnal experience, I've tried first to... Program, which was long, and really frustrating, and also.. too much time consuming for me (and even with organisation, I was like "what this is doing, oh, I see" and 2 seconds later "what this is doing again?").

After that, I just wanted to make a "game", not to make a "program" (and as fun as it should, I also tried to do board games at home ^-^, so you underdstand easily why I think a program isn't the game itself).

I tried first RPG Maker (not sure of the version), and soon after, I realised my version was illegal (really.. I wasn't aware of that), I removed it quickly, I don't want illegals things on my computer! <img src="smileys/smiley21.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

After, I tried Game Maker (8.1 I think, not sure), What the point of using GML if some other language can do more, and also, the D&D doesn't offer good results for me, the Demo itself was weird... simple functions wasn't included, and GMS later was.. Expensive.. And the Economy politics of YoyoGames don't encourage me to go to it

Even I didn't really liked it, I used It for a little time, doing some little things, and finally someone talk to me about Construct Classic (which I didn't try really much) and later, about Construct 2, And that was just... What I needed, I wasn't able to connect to the French community forum (It took me a complete year, because of technical Captcha problems), so I had to understand, and learn, and try and retry the program, which was a lot of fun, and also rewarding

I tried Construct2, Construct 2 Tried me, I payed It some days before the r100, And I'll stay with Construct2, because it is what I needed, and what I still need.

PS: Special thanks to Kyatric , who presented me Construct and Construct 2 (you know me under the "Powerfish" name)
