    sorry for opening another multiplayer thread but I'm quite confused and I would appretiate any advice you could give me.

    I'm working in a turn based game that may work perfect with asyncronization (no need for players to be connected at the same time to play; the better example maybe Hero Academy for IOS and Steam).

    I navigated through the forum and tutorials and I'm really desoriented about wich method would be better or smartest to use for my purpose. Should I use spritebank plugin? Ajax? dictionary?

    The Game is a sort of board game so the data that will be transfered are sprites positions and a local variable.

    What do you think? There's a easiest way to do it? A safer?

    I heard out there the idea of using cloud drives (like gdrive or dropbox) for hosting data and interacting between user acounts but probably is out of the ecuation right now.

  • UPDATE: I tried using blank events with "when arrow pressed" but is still not working. I tried embeding the code (given in the arcade) into a scrolling website and it works fine. The problem is with the scirra arcade webpage.

    There's something i'm missing here?

    The problem is I didn't manage to find a way to delete my game in the arcade so anyone who may step into it will shut it down in seconds and that's bad publicity.

    It works fine if hosted.

  • Same here. Not as often but One of 5 previews goes to white screens(as Tilley said, pressing f5 fixes it)

    It looks like c2 and GD are a little conflictive

  • To do lerp:

    every tick:

    set object x to lerp(self.x,destination.x,speed*dt)

    set object y to lerp(self.y,destination.y,speed*dt)

    Speed should be some value for the speed of the movement.

    You don't have idea how many time I spent searching for this! There's a lot of lerp threads around here but this is the 1st time I could make it work.

  • Sorry for the double post but I/ve realised my original post was in "closed bugs" and I thought that it belonged here.

    The error started yesterday when I tried to import a sprite directly to my layout by drag&droping from windows. A bug error poped up saying the sprite has problems with its collision poly.

    I tried to import this png from the animation editor and it looked to work but today, when I tried to open the caproj, this error appeared.

    Any ideas? Pless tell me I didn't loose my proyect.

    Im working with the b99 on windows 7. Don't have a capx but I may attach the caproj if needed.

  • Thanks! That may work or, at least, simplify things.

  • I thought on having multiples arrays but I suposed there was a better option.

    I gave the push and pop examples but if you know an alternative way to acomplish this queue effect without'em, i'll apreciate it.

    I've looked at several threads, manual entries and tutorials but I still can't find the solution to my problem.

    I want to do a grid where every column has its own queue (very similar to a 4 in a row game but inverted [like if you could insert coins from the bottom]).

    I've tried the push and pop functions and they work great with 1D columns but, when it comes to 2D, I don't know how to indicate wich column must be pushed and poped.

    Any ideas? I supose it should be an easy task but I don't know much about programming so I can't really figure it out by myself.

    Sorry for opening a new thread about arrays but ,believe me, I have checked the entire page searching for an answer but coudn't find anything related.
