    I'm working on a game called 8Bit Fiesta and it's a party game where I've taken some of the best local multiplayer games and made one big game out of them. So you compete in games like Tower Fall, Mario cart, Nidhogg and alot more and see who is the most versatile player.

    So it's kind of like Mario Party but way more gore and brutal humor <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_twisted.gif" alt=":twisted:" title="Twisted Evil">

    Here is some game testing on the arena game mode wich is like towerfall. The controls feels really solid and I've got really good feedback from the testers.

  • Well done. I'm a designer and even I think its quite fun to play with. But it can easily be a great tool for non designers who needs help creating consistent art

    Does anyone have any idea on how to make an instant replay like they have in for example Tower Fall where you get to see a replay of the last kill of the match?

    Any tips would be greatly appreciated

    Does anyone know how I can change the name of the playing animation based on a variable. For example I have an animation called "0_idle" when character 0 is selected. But can I change so the name of the animation changes to "CharacterNR_idle" instead? Can't get it to work. So if you pick character 3 the animation will then play "3_idle".

    Any ideas?

  • I tried it but it seems my screen is too big for the game. Nothing happens when I touch the right and left side of the screen on the lower part of the phone. I have to touch the left and right side on the top of the phones screen to make him go left and right. Does your invisible touch triggers scale correctly for bigger divices?

    So as you can see on the picture nothing happens when I click on the lower part of the screen.

  • Somebody Awesome, thanks. I solved it by checking if the axis of the analog stick was 0 and the character is mirrored then mirror the crosshair else not mirror

  • Somebody I see, now I understand how to do all of this. Thank you!

    One last question. Now my crosshair follows the analog stick. But when I stand still after running left my character is facing left but the crosshair jumps back and faces right. Do you know how to keep the crosshair at the same angle as the character when the analog stick is not in use?

    I have to learn to do this stuff on my own. But couldn't figure it out.

    I'm trying to figure out how to set the moving angle of my spawned bullets to shoot in the direction the left analog is facing when I shoot. I can't get it to work properly. Does anyone here know how to achieve this simple task?

  • cioclod No, it shows all the time. Tested it again now. The bar is hidden on my games made in XDK so it can't be my phone.

    I'm making a game with alot of "parody characters" that resemble famous characters but they have different names like Fario instead of Mario and FanMan instead of Batman. Do you guys think this is ok? I've read that you are safe as long as it is obvious that its a parody. But wanted to double check with you guys also
