  I want to drag a sprite and when it's close enough I want to make the sprite next to it move away. I tried with the pick by evaluate event but it's not working. what's wrong? I added the .capx.

  I was using the pick by overlapping point event on a family of objects but I want to perform the event only on an object overlapping with another object while the program perform the action with all the objects of the family because it works like an object overlaps with itself. Is it possible to tell the program not to perform the action on the object itself when it's not overlapping with anything?

  the event3 is tied to the first two events whether is event3A or event3B.

  I want to create an event that triggers only when the mouse moves from left to right or viceversa. I tried with creating a variable and setting it at ondragstart and than another variable set at ondrop. then I tried with comparing the two variables. if the first is less than the second than the mouse is moving from left to right but it doesn't work. the event created doesn't trigger anything. what am I doing wrong?

  I want to move an object at a certain speed for a certain number of pixels so I was trying with the bullet behavior because the move action doesn't have an option for speed. I tried with the set distance travelled but the object keeps moving and doesn't stop. what am I doing wrong?

  I saw there's an option for the dragdrop behavior on both axis or either horizontally or vertically but I want to dragdrop both horizontally AND vertically but not at the same time.

  basically I want to constrain the dragdrop movement on the X axis when moving on the Y and viceversa.

  is it possible to dynamically assign a UID to an object? like I want to assign a UID to an object on a particular event but then I destroy that very same object and I want to reassign the previous UID to another object on the same event as before.
