  • wow, thats a pretty polished little game you got there.

I also could not get to the wizards hat though.

  • I am running into an odd error that other people do not seem to be having.

I am trying to import a spriter object, but the symptom is that, although it imports into Construct 2 fine,

when I preview it, the object does not appear in the preview at all.

The individual parts of the object are set default to invisible, but even if I change that to visible, and set a default animation name in the properties, it does not animate.

I tried it with a new project and the demo SCML file that Brash Monkey has on his site (the Grey Guy player object)

And I also tried to use the advanced save features to save both extra types of info into the spriter object.

But after dragging the Grey Guy into the layout (it seems to load all the parts and spriter object)

I get the same error, it does not appear in the preview.

There is a demo video from BrashMonkey where he just drags that guy in and hits preview, and boom! the dude is there.

Is there another version of the plugin for construct2 that I am missing?

    Construct 2 Release 163

    Windows 8

Google Chrome Version 33.0.1750.117 m (Current)

    Spriter b6.1

  • This game looks awesome!

Congrats on getting it into steam, will definitely buy this.

  • Won it.

The obstacle room at the top was the hard part.

I liked the different enemies and their behaviors. And the laser sounds and effects were pretty good.

There were some grammatical errors in the text though,

like the text on the first part should say "if a zombie touches you, you're dead."

Looks like you have put quite a bit of effort into this thing.

The colored doors, and switches are a nice touch.

  • Yes! I love this kind of game.

    Really well done.

Very hard. I'll have to play again when I have more time.

  • Wow, the graphics are great.

    You draw that yourself ?

  • It's awesome.

    I'd suggest the following changes:

IT should bounce off the wall more, it's just kinda a dead ball once it hits it.

Also the bouncer at the bottom should bounce it more, since it does not actually bounce it back into the area of play. Just delays the inevitable a bit.

Sadly, level 7 would not load for me.

I went back to the menu and then selected play, it showed the first 6 levels complete, but the number 1 in the 7th circle. selecting it again failed to load the level , it just hung at the spinning symbol over the level 7 circle.

I tried again from the beginning, but it again hung on loading level 7.

All in all, one of the better games I've seen.

  • Dude! This looks so fun!

  • Like most of these games, I wish it had an "Instructions" page.

I was playing on my windows tablet, but then I went to my laptop.

The (Windows 8) laptop has a touchpad instead of a trackpad, which essentially means that you get a left click, but no right click (similar on the tablet)

Unfortunately I could not figure out how to make him move, he just seemed to move randomly when I clicked to a new location.

Looks like you are a few minor tweaks from a pretty fun game though!

    good luck

  • I wish instead of a diamond, it was a dog.

Perhaps a plot where his dog got out and he has to go get it.

    Diamonds are so over-rated.

  • Did it !!!

It was hard as hell, but I did it.

The ending was a bit anti-climatic.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I thought the name was really fitting.

    :p

  • I love these kinds of games!

This one was particularly hard but I thought it was fun.

Did you use blender to make the graphics?

  • Awesome spriter work, I wish I could do that.

Are you hand drawing those characters?

  • fun, but why is it so hard ?
