If by "mother sprite" you mean you're spawning bullets from another sprite, then don't use spawn use create (I've heard that spawn uses the angle of the parent).
I think that's what you're talking about, otherwise you can do "set angle" in bullet behaviour to "no" if you don't want the display and movement angle to be the same.
How do I find out which version I'm using?
Custom controls, let the player choose what ever they want.
For the Aquirium, my computer stays at 60 FPS at every option, so it might not be a good test for people with okay computers? Although I have always thought that graphics card had a bigger impact than Ashley says.
i5 2400, AMD Radeon 6850, Chrome 23
That's a good point. I wonder what the statistics are of people using beta releases vs stable of C2, I'm sure people realise that 'beta' things might not work everywhere.
Agreed, I visit here almost every day but didn't realise I had messages in my inbox for about a week.
Thanks Tom!
Basically, Intel graphics suck. If you care about gaming you need an AMD or Nvidia graphic card.
Yeah I'm holding out putting sound effects in my game until this comes, as I'm not sure if it'll be easy to adapt all the sound actions to positional stuff later or not. I'm only using Awesomium though.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
For bullet behaviour you can have the sprite have an angle independent from the AOM, so using the sprite angle conditions won't help.
I can't handle those node-based editors, incredibly messy, inefficient looking, and hard to read. If it was formatted like a normal page (top-down & left-right), oh wait that's just like Construct's events.
Oh cool, that's good to know.
Hehe
Oh yeah I see what you mean, moving left and right works fine but it's not able to jump (I think it's because the sprite is shaking very slightly for some reason?)
Works fine for me, you will probably need to provide an example .capx or more detail.
C2 will close the project, and will "freeze" with no kind of message. And if I go the task manager, then on display of the manager appears the default window message "C2 has stopped working".

Same with me, it happens to me randomly maybe 70% of the time. It feels like its time based, if you don't do much and close C2 it will be fine but once you've been using it for ages it will stop working on exit.
