Nintendo has shot down quite a few fan projects. The most memorable for me being the Ocarina of Time de-make, where a guy was recreating Ocarina of Time using A Link to the Past assets.
Haven't heard of that, is that a recent thing? Doesn't sound like Nintendo, when I was young I spent many years in the fan game communities and Nintendo didn't seem to care about any of them.

Any actions after a created object will only affect that newly created one, so make sure you put the "set angle" after the creation and not before.
wtf, anyone else seeing my posts before his?
If by "mother sprite" you mean you're spawning bullets from another sprite, then don't use spawn use create (I've heard that spawn uses the angle of the parent).
I think that's what you're talking about, otherwise you can do "set angle" in bullet behaviour to "no" if you don't want the display and movement angle to be the same.
How do I find out which version I'm using?
Custom controls, let the player choose what ever they want.
For the Aquirium, my computer stays at 60 FPS at every option, so it might not be a good test for people with okay computers? Although I have always thought that graphics card had a bigger impact than Ashley says.
i5 2400, AMD Radeon 6850, Chrome 23
That's a good point. I wonder what the statistics are of people using beta releases vs stable of C2, I'm sure people realise that 'beta' things might not work everywhere.

Agreed, I visit here almost every day but didn't realise I had messages in my inbox for about a week.
Thanks Tom!
Basically, Intel graphics ***** If you care about gaming you need an AMD or Nvidia graphic card.
