Hi,
Just wondering if usernames with spaces get a notification when using 'pkf@'?
So the hen would notify a user called 'the hen'?
Thanks
I was wondering the same thing.
I think it may, I used that earlier to reply in a thread to space monkey. He saw my reply, although I'm not sure if he was notified or was watching the thread. Hmmmm, so good question :)
Are your ears burning space monkey ?
I also always wonder if doing things like space money? will affect it..
Did you get this thehen?
I mean like adding a ? or , or . right after the name.
I did indeed get it.
— how about now? Username profiles add a hyphen in the URL so I imagine that might be how it's stored in the database.
It might be underscore. If you use the Find Member option on the New Message page, underscore will find names with spaces (I couldn't see a space monkey, but there is a Space Ape / space_ape).
I just realized how many notifications we must be giving space :P
scirra.com/users/space
Apologies for resurrecting such a dusty old thread, but did anyone find a solution to this? I've tried using the underscore to replace space but with no luck.
I've also wondered about that. So usually I just use the quote function to notify people with space in their username instead of
That's cool if they have posted something to quote, but what if they haven't commented in the thread?
.
You can still just use the quote tag without actual text Just add a dot or something where the text should be
