random bugs and suggestions

Is there really a point to having a character limit in the comments? I just posted a comment that was above that limit, and ended up having to post the second half in a second comment. Which is extra weird because the second half is above the first half.

Also, I tried posting the comment and this post with firefox and it didn't work. I'm not sure about the comment, but this post not working was because of noscript and only having scirra.com and not scirra.net on the allowed list. I would do some more tests with the comments but I can't edit or delete my comments there and I don't want to leave a bunch of pointless comments while testing it.

Since the update i can't stay logged in, every time i leave the site it logs me out again.

Is it just me, or has this latest forum update removed the capability to access/edit the signature?   <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I got timed out while making a very long and detailed post... which I then gave up on posting at all since I couldn't get it back again. After it timed me out I clicked "back" but it took me to a blank form.

Can we somehow opt-out of timeouts? Or make them hapopen only if the user hasn't clicked on anything in say, 2 hours?

I noticed also, but I thought it may be because of the use of rep points being more relevant here.

Try the 'Recalculate Rep' option in Profile - that will probably remove a few for you! Did for me :/

Recalculating rep will sometimes reduce rep, it's really hard to catch all the cases. For example, if you write a forum post, and then it's deleted for whatever reason at the moment I don't think it will subtract 2 rep... so when you recalc it, it deducts it there.

Also I don't think we will ever have a system to give people rep, the whole point of it is it's your reputation, it's how much this site trusts you!

Where "here" is a link that links back to that page...

EDIT: It seems there are problems accessing the site, got a "resource not found" right now and long access times.

EDIT 2: Ah, ok, thank you and sorry for my first EDIT ;)
