Copyright issues

  • I would like to upload in the arcade section my clone of "ruzzle." I was wondering (in order to avoid copyright issues) if it was possible to inhibit the "embed" and "share" options to restrict access only to developers who use construct 2? Could you suggest me if there is any other section of the site that would avoid me with this problem?

p.s.: But do you think there is a realistic chance to get into copyright issues ? Have you ever encountered problems with something like this?

    Thanks.

  • As far as I know, as long as you use your own assets/images/audio, and dont have a name resembling too much, it shouldn't be an issue at all.

When going commercial with it, the above just weighs a little bit heavier.

Just add a couple of your own twists, and dont blatantly copy the entire game to a tee and try to pass it off as your own, then you should be alright.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Just add the word candy, or saga... should be fine.

Runs off copyrights the word bacon.

  • And since no one else answered this: no, you cannot currently restrict outside access to your game. You can request is be removed, but once it is in the Arcade it's available for all.

  • Many thanks to all for the answers ! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
