Ehm... Hi ^.^ I'm not really new to Construct 2, I used it alot for a year ago or something. I've recently seen its true beuty again. Amazing program honestly... I wish I could afford the full version *.*

I can show you the .capx I've been working with.

I have been working a little bit with lighting and platformers.

  • Hello!

I'm Chris. I'm a 34 yr old graphic designer / illustrator. I have been playing games since the Atari days, and pushing pixels since v1 of Photoshop. My passion is to create. I recently started to get into the very basics of video game development/creation. I have been using Construct 2 for about 2 months now, and it's absolutely awesome for a guy like me.

If anyone needs some answers or tips in the art department, I will do my best to assist. I'm hear to learn, share, and most importantly to have fun.

Thank you to those whom have helped me thus far, and to the guys that made this great piece of software... You Rock! I look forward to helping out wherever I can.

  • Hello Everyone! I'm new here so I suppose I should introduce myself.

My name is Joe Fulford and I'm a 16 year computer lover. I love everything about computers. I also love games, that is why I am here. I can program in java and C++ but just not well enough to create games. Construct 2 is a great easy way to make games which is what I like. So that's why I'm here.

  • Hi there.

    My name is Martin Vaupell

    Tech enthusiast and love games.

Started coding on Commendore C64 in the early 90's

then switched to Amos and Amos pro a basic styled language on the Amiga.

In the late 90's i switched to PC and started working in FORTH,

Assambler and finally we got into object oriented C and C# with windows ;)

Barely ever thouched scripting like HTML, php, asp etc.

only made some simple websites and bulletin database updates.

I just purchased this because i thought it would be fun and entertaining

to play with, and i see a great community around this software so i basicly just wanted to show my support.

  • Hello strangers of Scirra! I have joined your great website in hopes to learn more about creating games. I found myself vastly impressed and interested on how easy it was to create a game using Construct 2. Now I want to further my knowledge and get to know more about this community. I've been starting to code html and get in more touch with different languages. I will probably purchase this program in the near future. I think I just found a new hobby. :)

  • Hello strangers of Scirra!

Ever since I was just a wee' boy I found myself interested with technology and how you can create real things that were just ideas. I don't know what my future holds yet and I'm not entirely sure what I want to do with my life yet but I know this is just right up my alley. I can definitely say I will be purchasing this soon. I've always been fascinated with game development and this program has given me the motivation to do explore it further. I've found a new hobby and I thank Scirra for that. I would like to know the community a lot too, maybe do some collaborations or just make friends in the future. I am impressed.

  • Hello

Fullhouseofaces here, wantabe writer and avid lover of gaming. Had a play around on Construct 2 on steam and i must say i'm hooked, its much more intuitive than any of the other painful attempts to break into the world of game making.

I'll probably be asking lots of questions and making lots of mistakes as i give this game making thing another shot. But it should be interesting. I doubt i could be of any help on here but if you think i can by all means let me know.

    Kind regards

    Fullhouseofaces

  • Hi! My name is Amon Arelious Soza! Just registered on the forums and would like to say Hi!

Spent the last hour familiarizing myself with Construct 2 and so far I've found it to be fun; most important thing imho.

A lot of other solutions stop becoming fun because of complexity, bugs etc! so I end up losing interest and so far Construct 2 has me enjoying my time but also I can see the light at the end of the 'Will I finish this game?' tunnel. :)

Anyway, back Construct and making games! :)

  • Experienced electrical engineer moonlighting as a game designer looking to push the boundaries of the tower defense genre and 2D shooter genre in various new ways and blending real science (not just physics) into game mechanics. Through this, maybe luck into ways to help 'non-human experience' science (think light, quatum physics, chemistry) be part of the human experience making this topics easier to study in the long run.

  • <img src="smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> today is a great day because my project is taking life thanks to this awesome program : Construct 2

It's the best non programming game creator I've found on the internet.
