• Hi Everyone,

I use Dropbox and love it but the limits on space is frustrating,

so I

just wanted to let you know about a new service I just found,

very similar to dropbox, but WAY more free space, and shared files also share the file size,

so if you are sharing a 2GB file with someone else, you both are are only responsible for 1GB each.

So that is cool too.

it starts at 15GB for free and if you click on the

link here https://copy.com?r=ZWL2ZM

you get an additional 5GB fro free, so a total of 20GB.

there is no public folder yet

and no viewing older files so

be careful what you delete.

So I use this for basic storage and DB for the public folder.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know

• copy was mentioned here already couple of time

Kyatric maybe you could do a sticky post in some free time - with all available sharing services?

• I searched it and it did not come up - my bad

but for all those who have not heard of it ... here you are..

https://copy.com?r=ZWL2ZM

• No, not at all. it's not your bad.

I tried to search for original post and couldn't find it either, that's why I've asked Kyatric to do a sticky post. or add it somewhere where it's easy to find.

Out of respect. You gave your link already, and so did I - lol

Don't overdo it, some might take it the wrong way.

Sidenote: There were loads of copy threads. But I suspect they got deleted as they are a little spammy and each person trying to get someone to click his link.

I also had my link in my sig for a little bit, but a whole bunch of folks signed up, but didn't verify their details or install the software (yip you need to install software) makes 0 activations. Which isn't worth it being in my sig as it benefited no one

Thought: Maybe scirra rather open their own copy account and we all join with their link to help with storage for capx files in tuts and forum?

• The post you mentioned guys

Had to look for more than 6 months back.

We don't delete posts for nothing, we mostly deal with spam.

shinkan: Make a sticky of sharing services... yes, maybe.

I don't really know to be honest, and since now the forums allows you to join files to your posts, we will kind of need less and less of those normally.

Plus, I personally don't really know of all the sharing services. Might do one in "Tools and resources" maybe, but this won't prevent those kind of posts anyway.

No sticky does...

6 months, wow, time flies when you having fun

Thanks for clearing that up.

Edit: that's not the one I signed up on - lol. So there are more out there

Want to put that treasure rep thing in one of them

• Kyatric Sticky was just a suggestion, but yeah totally forgot about attachments - they do make these services unnecessary for sharing capx and stuff like that.

So nevermind

• I'm delighted with dropbox despite of the known space limits. I see no need to choose another service.

• Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
• I like DB too, in fact I said I love it, so I am ' delighted' as well.

So, If you don't need or want more space then don't use Copy.

Simple as that ...

• More options is always good because you can choose what you want.

Thanks for all

• I use GoogleDocs now...works very well with all it´s comp abilities and text editor etc.
