Anyone Notice

Hey,

Has anyone noticed on the steam free edition the start page comes up on launch where as non-steam it doesn't? Interesting as the start page coming up on launch is a paid license exclusive (for non-steam at least)

Not ranting, just wondering if anyone else noticed.

Make sure, in the preferences dialog, the "Show start page on startup" is checked.

The start up page is not a "license only" feature.

Oh strange. I did not think it was as such.

Ashley should either put it as free for all versions, or fix the steam version.

The Start page does come up in the standalone free edition, providing you didn't previously install a license and turn it off.

I never had a license <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> I did have steam free edition installed, then un-installed that through steam, then installed free edition from scirra.com

Not too worried was just curious if anyone else had it <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

The start page gets disabled when C2 crashes and you can't turn it back on unless you have a licence (or edit the registry).
