Adding layers

Hi,

I am new to Construct 2, and trying to find my way around it. It is very user friendly. However, I am stuck at the point where I need to add layers for a game design. Construct allows me to add only 4 layers. When I try to add a 5th layer, the + icon is not highlighted. It would be great if a solution could be shared.

Another question. I have added a sprite object, but I cannot see the edit windows after I insert it. Also, when I right-click on the sprite object under the Object types folder, the Edit option is disabled. The Objects bar is also missing from the right-hand side of the Construct 2 window. Not sure what I could be missing.

The layer where you placed your object might be locked, you can try to unlock it and then click on it

Try to double click it in the object bar
