Pixel Sprites ala ReactorCore - Builder Hardware - Large pack of sprites!
  • Hi All,

i have created some particle type animated sprites. take a look at them here.

They can be dragged around the screen. There is also a white draggable box which shows how the sprite looks with a white background. Some of these are really only suited to darker backgrounds.

If there is any interest i will make them available for free.

Warning this page will take some time to load and i would suggest is not suitable for viewing from a mobile device. I would also suggest using chrome but it should work ok with other browsers.

Here is the capx containing all the sprites shown above.

Depending on feedback here i will consider creating similar custom animated sprites.

  • Wow! The effects look great! It could save me a lot time from designing my own. May I use the ones in [second page](1st row,3rd column),(2nd row,1st column),(3rd row, 1st column),(3rd row, 2nd column),(3rd row, 4th column), and (4th row, 2nd column).

    Thanks!

Well if it helps i am happy to make a smaller capx with just the effects you want. Dont really know what else i could do short of making each one available to download separately. <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Wow man, these are awesome! May I use this on my project? You will be fully credited (if it ever gets released lol)

  • hi spongehammer,

your particles effects are perfect for desktop games (PC/MAC) but how you suggest to recreate the same effects on mobile devices?

For example: pre-renderize each effect and create then animations for each effect? (applying when appear in the game some alpha effect)?

    What you suggest?

    Thanks a lot ..
