I used to use fraps. But I recently starting using bandicam after I started having a few problems with the former.

I've used FRAPS without issue, and Camtasia Studio is great if you've got some money to spend for a full editing and recording software.

If you're looking for something free... CamStudio or Open Broadcaster Software. :)
