Articles and/or magazines you read for inspiration

Hey again guys! I'm diving deeper into the world of game design and development and I'm wondering if there are any good magazines, blogs or equal readables out there that you read or follow? The stores in my city offer lots of magazines but all of them are mostly game reviews or pure computer science :/

So, got any good tips for me?

Some of the best reading material includes their "20 Years Later" interview with the actor/martial artist who played Johnny Cage in the original Mortal Kombat, The Man who Created Double Dragon, and "A History of Epic Games".

For game design check the blogs lost gardens ( be sure to read the "Other articles worth reading") as well as Raph Koster's blog.

On my own website I gather/curate game design talks of smart and experienced people talking about making games.

I also consider extra-credits as a valuable source of informations concerning game design/making (most of the time).

I second Kyatric's Raph Koster, who is easily my favorite game design blogger. Also, Gamasutra is one of the premier design/business sites with thousands of articles on virtually every aspect of development, interviews, job postings, and industry news.

my two have already come up. so i second the recommendations for gamasutra and extra credits.

i think i'll try some of the other suggestions for myself too

I'd also suggest gamasutra.com and Casual Games Connect (you get it free if you're a member of the Casual Games Association, which is free to join as well: http://www.casualgamesassociation.org).

I would also suggest looking into the GDC Vault. They have a lot of free presentations by developers looking back at their own projects. I'm a big fan of the Postmortems. GDC Vault

Not only postmortems, but indeed, I second sman118 too, GDC Vault is a great resource for game making and business knowledge.
