  • Hi, this is my fist project or at least the very first I get to complete, so I wanted to ask you guys, in your conisderation what's the best API for leaderboard management.

I've seen a lot of threads where clay.io is mentioned but, I would like to know from you guys before I start using clay.io.

Im planning to release the game on Google Play btw.

  • Well, I'm using clay.io.

Isn't perfect, but I believe it's the best option for now..

With clay.io you can, not only put leaderboards in your project, but achievements, in-app purchases and ads too.

    Cheers.

  • Zathan thanks! I'll check it out.

There's a Google Game services plugin in Construct, what is that plugin for?

Can I export using Crosswalk and use the Google Games services plugin?

For now, the google play plugin only works for web games :/

Google Play is the best Android Market. The functions of that plugin are similar to clay, but just for Google Play.

    Sorry for the english <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt="" title="Mr. Green">

  • Thanks Zathan I was thinking of making tests with it, that saves me a lot of trouble and wasted time.

    You're welcome

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • leaderboards.io - is a great leaderboards service. you can create as many boards as you want and you get top 100 scores for several timeframes (today, yesterday, this week, etc) and social leaderboards. Its easy to integrate with; uses a cross platform JSON REST api.

Check out this topic, there's a plugin just for that.

    Edit>

Hah, didn't even look at the date....well

  • Ye this thread is old already but I have a similiar question and dont seem to get any help in the "how do i..."-forum so:

I would like to implement leaderbords for each "minigame" in my app. Which plugin should I make use of? I see that CocoonJS plugin provides a leaderboard function, is it useable? I use cocoonjs btw~

    thank you

  • Fireche

I know only Crosswalk. I'll call you ArcadEd, he's one of the CJS experts around.

  • CJS has support for both Google Play Leaderboards and Gamecenter Leaderboard (ios).
