This is a 3 year old thread for a now retired piece of software.

Construct Classic files are not compatible with Construct 2.

If you still wish to to view the .cap for CC then you can download CC from THIS THREAD.

Thanks for the reply, but I found this tutorial which will hopefully do what I need. There's no capx but it seems simple enough
