  • i got a temporary solution to that to stop players from just waiting for a high score when the ball is trapped.. i did it by stopping point addition when ball is trapped.. hehe.. i got more plans other than this one

    PLANS:

-use 3dboxes to be used as paddles

    -better tiled background

-a nice storyline and scrolling effects

    and most importantly:

-TO PREVENT THE BALL FROM GETTING CAUGHT!

hehehe.. help please... i kinda "recruited" my classmate to help me out with the graphics... :p

by the way, here is the newer version. :

    Wait... storyline for Paddle Game?

Kid's these days XD, good thinking of 3dboxes as paddles.

    Good luck

  • i still dont know why the ball gets caught in the paddle..

  • You could try creating a system that, when the ball collides with the paddle, it is swiftly pushed back on track in whatever direction it is supposed to be bouncing. There are overlap and collision detection events that provide a great workaround for such issues.
