I know I have seen it somewhere before but I can not find it. In the editor, I can change a layout size from default 640,480, but I can not figure how to get it to actually view the larger size when running the program. Is it possible with Construct Classic, to play the game in a screen size larger than the viewing defaults?

Again, I know i saw it somewhere, but was a couple of months ago and I can not find it.

If you click on the layout, you can change it's size in the layout properties on the left. To change the window size, click Properties in the same bar.

Okay okay. A combination of the two together, with adjusting the location of items. I got it know. Will tinker to adjust. The combination of both worked. I always thought they both did the same thing: changed layout only.
