Math question (Sun bloom offset overlap)

Trying to get that sun bloom effect that David originally posted, to work whit layers and zoom. I've got it to work with layers whit some formulas I found from the forums but cannot figure out how to implement zoom.

Maybe there is better way to do this but since I assume OR condition is't working correctly this seems to work.

Edit:Actually it seems to be quite a heavy hit to performance. At least in my case.
