Here is my problem:
I have a layout area of 640x400 ... and the actual content is way wider something like +2000. Right now within Construct i can?t pan while zoomed in all the way to the edge of the 2000+ content to fine tune positions etc. I can see the whole thing zoomed out at 25% but it's unpractical to work so far way.
it's impossible to create a scrolling level this way. Or am i missing something
This is kinda of schizophrenic but here i am answering to myself!
Found out that the actual layout must be has wide as the level width. Duh!
Oh well ... maybe this help someone in further forum searches

I had no idea you could zoom out in the actual workspace window. I mean, I've seen the "100%" tab at the bottom of the window, but I never could find any keyboard shortcuts in the documentation, let alone a mouse interface. How does one change the workspace zoom value?
Hey there. Well it's very easy.. CTRL + MouseWheel although i think you cant input an exact value.. and sometimes you get like 105% and can't really nudge it back to 100% with the wheel.
Here check out some of the keyboard & mouse shortcuts from the Wiki:
