Submitting feature requests

After discussing feature requests here - and generally, if it's agreed it's a good idea (and we think it's doable!) - you can submit it to the SourceForge feature request tracker, so it's not forgotten in time, and will eventually be gotten around to (hopefully).

This is also the place to put very small additions or niggles which don't really require a thread, but which you might normally reply to a thread over. The small things are important, and this ensures that they can be dealt with efficiently.

I think a .GetName expression would be good. It would return a string with the objects name.

Would be good for saving objects names to files to be loaded again later with the System Create object by name or A plugin that I am working on.

I didnt ignore the post Rich said to discuss it here. I took that to mean this thread. I guess not. There are some small features that dont really need a thread for them and I thought that to be one of them so I posted it in this thread.
