Request : color swap

Swap a color in a sprite with another. I need it, can someone create it?

Sorry for the double thread, but I was doubtiful on where to post it.

It'd need to be a shader, but it's quite simple to do.

It wouldn't be very useful at all unless you had solid colour sprites, or very specific graphics.

maybe a range thing might not be so useless rich

a range of colors being shifted by a given amount

i only know the extremely basic basics,

that new guy, whatshisface was explaining to me in chat the other day, but this seems doable, even with my uber limited knowledge

so if no one else does, ill see if i can throw something together this weekend

Maybe I'm not seeing it, but wouldn't a range shader need 9 parameters? RGB start of range, RGB end of range, RGB to replace with?

Wouldn't it then need a loop to check for the range?

Maybe there's a way I haven't pondered.

Even single color replacing would be useful for limited palette sprites. A range feature could be useful too.

That was me. It was one of the many files that was eaten up by FileShack, and I don't think I have the original. The one I made tinted a color range.

I just thought of a brilliant idea!

what if there was a plugin that tinted a range of colors another color?:

Range Tinter

Color Replacer
