  • Hi,

I think if Construct have Per Pixel Alpha Blending would be great!

To those who do not know what is Per Pixel Alpha

    Look this Example:

    <img src="https://recriartec.com/arquivos/scirra3.png">

The Scirra on the forum is not a picture posted on the forum, but in an Application Per Pixel Alpha.

You can Drag and Drop only in pixels of Scirra.

There are several projects of Per Pixel Alpha in WEB.

Search in Google "Per Pixel Alpha Blending" for look Projets from C++/MFC to C#/Windows Forms. The concept of creating a per-pixel-alpha blending window remains the same, the GDI function UpdateLayeredWindow.

ou also like the Per Pixel Alpha Blending in Construct?

    Comment.

Sorry my English, i From Brazil

  • I can't really understand what you mean.

As far as I know, what i think you're talking about is opacity.

    Hum, is not useful?

Have you ever heard of Designer?

What is the Difference of applications for windows 98 and windows own 98, compared with Applications in Windows Vista and even Windows Vista?

Not only performance, but also to the designer much in an application.

The Application can be simple function of the world, if your designer is more interesting, people vaumara like it, not because of its function, more especially by its designer!

  • App without Per Pixel Alpha Blending (Before) :

App with Per Pixel Alpha Blending (After) :

    Saw the difference?

    It is not useful?

    Note: This is Fun

  • If I'm understanding it correctly, that sounds like a feature Construct already has. If you want a sprite to have different opacity in different areas, can't you just change the alpha values of those areas in the image editor? (Or import a PNG file with the correct transparency.)

  • pretty sure he means window transparency, opacity settings for the app, not just its contents.

  • Ohhh, right! I get it now.

    Sounds useful, actually.

  • oh ok, you mean something like a transparent layout background color.

  • Yeah, yes, yes, but you can only click and drag the window, where you have only image or elements such as buttons, sprites, texts, edit box, gradients etc.

  • Can be done via the SDK; there's code on the CodeProject.com if anyone's interested; wouldn't imagine it'd be amazingly hard.

lol i though you just wanted sprites to have Pixel Alpha Blending... you could say so you want to have window with Alpha Blend.

Correct, would be nice to have window with Alpha Blend.

Rich, is possible Alpha Blend Window in new's versions of Construct?

Or I would have to make a SDK for this function alone = /

  • It's not possible with any current object. The SDK is lightweight, and this is what it is intended for, specialist uses .
