PDF User Manual

Hi, I would to see a user manual for Construct in .pdf format, I don't have internet access at home, so I would like a .pdf version of the user manual so that I may read it offline

It won't happen any time soon. Creating solid documentation is important, but it's also difficult and dull.

Ignoring the unnecessary condescenion of "had you searched, you would have found...", it's agreed that better instruction is needed. "Difficult" and "dull" are subjective assessments, neither of which negates its the necessity nor excuses its absence even if they are true.

That is a really old post and regardless this is a legitimate request. So be nice.

But DataFLashbot is right in that I highly doubt we will see customized .PDF documentation. Unless somebody with lots of free time steps forward to do it I don't see it happening.

Why don't you download the scirra wiki website to your computer. There are several free tools that do this. For example, (http://www.httrack.com).

Also, I forgot that Adobe Acrobat has an option to convert a website to PDF automatically. You could download the free trial http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/tryout.html and give it a go. It will be a monster PDF.

Sweet! I never knew that. I actually have Adobe Acrobat at home. I will try to convert the Wiki when I get a chance.

I converted it Wiki to pdf, but I can�t access online storage websites from work so I�ll have to wait until I get home from work to post it. Some of the links point back to the web, but there are a good 100+ pages in the pdf, so hopefully this gives you enough to learn quite a bit about Construct.
