  • "Hide all comments" and "Show all comments" options.

  • Intresting idea... would comments just collapse or disappear completely?

  • Disappear I'd assume, as there's no mechanism to collapse them.

  • Yes, disappear completely. I think it is a good idea for doing good documentation.

  • There should be some indicator that they're hidden though, but I agree, toggling comments would be nice. Sometimes it's a lot easier to read events with no comments in the way.

  • How would the indicator be done? I agree there should be something, but I'm not sure what..

  • Maybe an eyeball icon somewhere? Or discreet dashed lines where the comments should be...?

  • I know what to do!!!

  • Perfect solution, I'll get on it.

I think that would work well with my end-of-event divider:

  • Oh lawdy... I lol'd xD

I'm not 100% convinced this would be such a good idea myself, since comments are there for a reason. If I wanted to hide them, I wouldn't have put them there in the first place... having said that, if other people can see a use in it, then why not?

I would suggest something along what deadeye was thinking, like a little icon that appears at the top of the event sheet or something which indicates comments are toggled on/off. I guess while you are at it, you could make one for groups as well?

Also, being able to group comments together and collapse them, would be handy without having to use an actual group. don't know if this is possible, but I could certainly find a use for this if it were a feature.

  • I would love to have a button to collapse all the groups. I use dozens of them and it would be very handy to have one button that could collapse them all instead of manually having to collapse them one by one to keep things easy to scroll through.

Actually yes, this would be better than hiding groups. Having a "collapse/expand all" button would certainly be a nice feature.

  • Indeed, feature tracker that one.
