Undo is Cntrl+Z, but why doesn't Cntrl+Y work?

Because... nobody has coded Ctrl-Y to do anything? Just a guess.

There is a Redo button but it doesn't see finished.

I'm quite sure he means "Redo", which is usually mapped as Ctrl+Y
