How do I open project from local folder in Firefox?

I've been using Chrome for C3 but it started working slowly for me (see https://www.construct.net/en/forum/construct-3/general-discussion-7/anyone-seeing-slower-167843), so I want to see if Firefox will perform faster. However, FF isn't giving me the option to load projects from a file folder. Screenshots below are 1) from FF, and 2) from Chrome. Is there something I can do to enable loading projects from a file folder in FF? FYI I'm using FF 97.0.1.

Not sure if i understand you correctly, however i see on both the pictures "open local file", which is what you are looking for? The only thing missing from FF pic that i see, is the "open recent file" tab.

No, I believe he wants to load a project folder. You can save as single file but also as a folder. And similarly load it.

I just tested in Chrome and Firefox. I can't load a local folder either, or at least don't see the option either.

But honestly, I think Chrome is still the best and probably the fastest browser to use C3 in. It certainly is the most commonly used browser.

Saving to local files, and saving to folders, depends on the File System Access API. Currently only Chromium-based browsers like Chrome and Edge support it. Other browsers like Firefox and Safari don't support it, so in that case Construct falls back to showing other alternatives.
