my game works fine on windows but when my friend tried playing my game on a mac my game stopped working properly. anyone know why?

Was the version your friend played exported as macOS? Different operating systems need different versions of the game, so if it's not the right one then it won't work.

Yeah it was exported as Mac. He was able to play my game but it wasn’t functioning normally
