How do I Drag & drop the player (or different thing) to another layer?

I'm making a weird puzzle game. I like to use drag & drop thing. I want to drag & drop the player (or different thing) to another layer. Is it possible? If it is, How?

Thanks. But it is not enough because there is new problem about it. I drag & drop an item from HUD to Game layer. When I drop, it drops on game layer but on wrong location. My english is not enough to explain it. But I can say, I can drag and drop the item from HUD to the Game layer but the item drops on HUD area. So confussing.

Are the layers using different parallax? Or you might be setting the position on drop with other events. Other than that it should just appear where you drop it.
