should I make the switch to cs3?

I'm a long time Construct 2 user and I stayed with CS2 because of my familiarity with it and CS3 didn't really offer anything I needed and also not to mention I have purchased my personal license long ago.

CS3 now has move to in event and animation timeline in layout. With these additions is it now worth it to upgrade to CS3 and justify abandoning my CS2 license and purchase my SC3 prescription plan? Also what about performance are there noticeable improvements?

It was worth moving to C3 before those things were added. Also the export options are better. Also the C3 runtime is better than the C2 runtime, there are blog posts about it like this : construct.net/en/blogs/construct-official-blog-1/announcing-construct-runtime-904

thank you for replying and I do think I'll make the switch. I only developed simple little games and CS2 did the job but I want to be more ambitious and it looks like CS3 is a worthwhile upgrade.

Worth it for the editors alone imo

worth it because you can edit on android for me. You can edit away during your commute.
