is there a way to make seamless portals like in the portal games flattened to 2d? like you can enter halfway through the portal, your first half is in the portal and the second half appears from the other one. thx!
You could duplicate the player sprite only while he is in any portal, then place one player sprite in each portal.

idk i think that would break alot of things, even if the player will be there for a short time
plus, you have to account for every physics prop and object
