  • i converted from C2 to c3 just because of the build in Array Editor.

    Then i notice :

    1. Multiple select same sprite with different OPACITY, set new Opacity crash C3

    2. This is a "FIXED BUG". apparently, they don't understand the meaning of FIX

    WHAT DRIVE ME MAD

    1. Click SPRITE, Press SHIFT, resize with MOUSE. ( CANNOT BE UNDO! )

    *Resize without SHIFT can be undo. ( i have a snap-to-grid of 12 )

i have a large project that deals with alot of sprite.

when i select a large group of sprite, it can be easily mis-resize it.

  • .........................

that is hundreds copy of sprites.

to be arranged into a different layer.

now some selected sprite are accidentally resized.

i dont understand, nobody noticed this? resize cannot be undo.

  • Don't use an old Construct 3 version

    Click this link:

    editor.construct.net/r129

    Then try again.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads

You don't know how to update.

Don't act like you know a lot please, if you don't even know how to update.

No, since we understood how to use it already.

It's just you're the only one who doesn't know how to use it. Unfortunately.

I hope that shed some light on the subject. Have a nice day!

  • 2 Option of C3

    LATEST STABLE R120 - BUGGED

    OR

LATEST BETA R129 - NOT THAT STABLE

    I dont know update? Thanks.

I really dont know how to choose.

R129 do not has the features i needed.

sure go for R120 "Stable" release.

I using C3 for just 10 hours, that i uncovered 2 BUG that only RECENTLY fixed.

    Opacity Crash.

    Shift-Mouse Resize cannot be undo.

  • anywhere. i undo the mistake "manually"

not being fussy. Construct was not a baby software. or even Construct 3 itself.

either C3 was started from scratch. OR

C3 has really low user count.

how come these low level bug just RECENTLY fixed?

  • There really is no need to be so aggressive.

If you find an error simply report it on github. The Construct team is very responsive and everything I've reported so far has been fixed within a few hours or - at maximum - a few days.

There's no such thing as constantly evolving software that somehow magically stays bug free. All kinds of bugs can be introduced at any point.

  • Hey man, chill.

I have been using C3 for a year and I would advise if you are using C3 to always use the latest beta

it will usually have the least problems, and any major problems are always fixed very quickly

up until a few weeks ago I would advise develop using C3 but with C2 runtime

but from this week I would say it is pretty safe to also start using C3 run-time full time.

C3 is excellent software, you will see.

also, it may not be obvious right now, but there is a really good and helpful community lurking in the shadows.....

  • Thanks for the helpful reply.

    Already switch to R129
