  • Great work, so far no problems and everything works as intended with the recent update.

    Just 2 quick questions:

    • C3 seems to run on NW.js (Chromium). Does the browser update itself or do we have to update it manually?
    • Would it be possible for C3 to remember the state of the window (e.g. maximized) and apply it automatically on startup?
  • Awesome - I will have to test this out.

  • The desktop build launches really fast compared to C2 and I love how it updates itself in seconds. But in the editor, things are slower than C2 even thought It consumes more than twice ram than C2. For example:

To open an event sheet, you need to wait for it to load.

    Image editor opens slower.

Almost all actions (collapse/open groups, add event, add actions, add objects etc) have really small delays but it brakes the smoothness.

Scrolling in event sheets is laggy.

    ...

I really want to use C3 but the editor needs performance improvements.

  • Yay, it's finally out Been looking forward it, I'll be downlading and trying it out today.

  • Does the remote preview work for the desktop version?

No LAG here, no delay..... all actions is "instant"...... if you want to see i can record in video.

  • LuisCGForte Wow, awesome! Maybe I'm doing something wrong. What is your pc specs? What is the event count of your project? A video would be awesome.

BTW by actions I mean collapse/open groups, add events, add actions, add objects etc.

    My specs:

    i7 4700MQ 2.40 GHz

    8GB Ram

    NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M SLI

    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

    Yep.

    Cool, thanks.

  • I agree with bilgekaan i could also do with some performance improvements. I had to split my project so much so that i can work on the event sheet, it's amazing.

Every type of function has it's own event sheet, like Functions - Player movement, Functions - Player animation, Functions - Chat

    Insane >.<

  • I've updated the desktop build download to fix some issues with preview. Use the new download link to update.

  • what about mac and linux ?

  • At first we are only releasing a 64-bit Windows desktop download, but we do plan to extend this to 32-bit Windows, 64-bit Mac, and 32-bit and 64-bit Linux later down the line.

  • Nah. I got so comfortable with browser version that I even forgot it's browser version.

And my project regardless of how massive it is gives no heck about it either ;D

  • It seems like default theme performs a bit better than the dark theme. Also disabling UI effects and animations helps a little. I will try to use C3 for my next project.
