Cannot use WebM files on server

The server I use will not allow WebM files on it. Is there a way I can use mp3 files?

The people that run the sever will not allow them. When I used Construct 2 I could change the data.js file to use mp3s. Construct 3 is different, how can I use mp3s?

Only WebM files are guaranteed to work everywhere. The solution is to update the server. WebM has been around for over 10 years now, it's a well-established format/

I understand what you are saying, but I can't update the server. I am looking for a work around to use mp3s. If there isn't one please let me know.

You can still play the audio indirectly using "Add remote URL".

It will depend on if the browser supports mp3, but you know that going in.
