  • So I decided to try out Construct2 on a whim; totally just based off it's feature set, I mean event based programming and it could output to html5 and other things in the future? Sure I'll try that out.

I've never got very far with any of these game making program so I thought I'd start easy. Playing around with C2 for a bit I noticed that getting basic physics into a game is super easy! So I built my game around that.

So please try out Pixel Drop and let me know what you think. Just click the logo below.

    Well done!

  • Nice game! It's cool to see physics puzzle games :)

  • This is pretty damn good for a first game. It's always the simple, unique games that are the most successful.

  • This is great! There's definitely scope for lots of different levels, or maybe even a level editor too? I tried it on my phone too but sadly it ran quite slowly, which is odd as I've run other tests with C2's physics fine. Anyway, great work!

  • Very fun!

  • Cool game.

The level 3 is definetly the trickier.

  • Very cool! Simple but entertaining.

Not sure if it's a "feature" but you could try to improve the way win/failure is checked so that you don't get a "you win" message even if you lose later because you're slowly rolling off the platform and falling down several seconds later. :)

  • Try Construct 3

  • Very Good Game i like these types of puzzle games.

  • Fell out when the floor got shorter!

  • Very nice- simple and fun.

One small technical hitch that has not been mentioned: clicking the music note mutes the music, but it doesn't unmute the music when re-clicked. I think this has more to do with the current state of sound in C2 though.

    All in all, good job!

I think it has more to see with the coding. (mute the music, go in a level, click the menu icon, come back to the first screen, music plays whereas it supposedly shouldn't.)

Anyway, the sound in C2 works. If anything it is the audio support in browsers that sucks.

  • Very cool game ! Gratz !

  • This is cool, But I don't understand what the goal is <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
