    Just working on a new iPhone game.

    It's a little game with circles and has an minimalistic style.

    More information is coming when u guys are interested.

    It reminds me of "DOTS",another iOS game.

    Sadly, my iPod Touch is dead right now... I really want to try it. :)

    You may have some ideas for some good minimalistic sounds and music?

    Sound is not my special so I need some good royality free sfx/music.

    Anyone have some sources for it?

  • Today I've finished the support for iPhone 4, 4S and 5. Works well on all three phones right now.

    I've also added some small animations, some sound effects and a new one time per level bonus (comes randomly in a round and only lasts 5 seconds)

    Right now I make some small graphic changes, bugfixes and other small things. After then I'm looking into the gameplay to add new gameplay elements.

    was working on the game constantly the last 2 weeks.

    What I was doing the last few days:

    * Added support for iPhone 4, iPhone 4S & iPhone 5

    * Added sounds and music

    * Added a settings menu for setting up your name

    * Added highscore lists (Global Top-10 and Local)

    * Added about screen

    * Added menu animations

    * Added ingame animations

    * Added a restart button to the pause menu

    * Added a new line with circles (6 more)

    * Added a timeline animation while playing (bottom)

    * Added a new circle with extra bonus (circle with star)

    * Added a graphic for signaling the 2x Bonus

    * Added a text message at the end if you set a new highscore

    * Improved the touch sensibility for the circles

    * Changed most of the graphics

    * Text messages now appear in the topbar

    * Lot of bugs are fixed

    Just completed some dev work the last weeks.

    I am now in a "nearly feature complete" status after adding some small gameplay elements and some graphic work.

  • i really like the minimalistic style, not too much of design. the right colors were picked. it just looks great. i gotta play it at some time.

    how did you manage to support the different screen sizes between the iPhone5 and the older generations?

    It's quite harder doing it fir Android because of the screen sizes but I'm still looking fordward to do it in the future:-)

    Thank you! Because I'm only supporting the 3.5 Retina and 4 Retina screen, it's only 2 different sizes I habe to do work.

    So there are 2 different image sizes:-)

    Here is a final mockup for you!

    I'm testing right now and if all works well I plan on submit it to the appstore soon :-)

    how do you manage this? do you detect the Screen Size in C2 and then use the appropriate layout size?

  • I am just write down the window height into a variable at the start of the layout.

    960 = iPhone 5

    1136 = iPhone 4 & 4S

    You can then move your gui objects to the 2 different positions as you wish.

    I also have to note that I'm using the Crop mode as scale mode.
