Pageflip WIP

I finally made a decent (imo) Pageflip in Contruct 2!

I still have some minor bugs / annoyances to iron out but after that i'll post the .capx

Might take a while to load (~6mb) so be patient please

Only 3 (6) pages for testing purposes.

Controls:

Left & Right Arrow Keys to Flip a single page

Up & Down Arrow Keys to flip fast to the beginning or the end

On Page 3 there is a button (blue rectangle)

Feedback would be nice so i can improve it some more before i release it

Didn't have time to fix everything and my version does what i want, so here it is... ugly, could be optimized but it kinda works

I fixed the low-res Pages on turning and some other minor stuff

I'm gonna add page shadows and then it's done

I'll probably post a new demo today or tomorrow, together with the example .CAPX

looking preety nifty so far.. .I was lookign into something like this a long while ago... glad someone is working on it.

Sorry, i was kinda busy last week so i didn't finish this yet.

Right now it's like 400°C outside and not much cooler in my house so i don't really feel like sitting in front of my pc

Ize : I wonder, is this using the paster or canvas plugin to do this turning pages (with the draw quad action)? If not, I am curious to see how you could make it so nicely

Also the last part was unexpected, but was fun ^^

It's using R0J0hound paster... mainly the paste object to canvas and draw textured quad functions (makes sense if you think about it)

There is a not so nice distortion when "folding" the quad texture like i do but i guess that's how the plugin works and you don't notice it (much) when the pages turn fast enough, the page "shadows" also distract from it a bit too
