  • Hi,

I've searched on the forum but can't seem to find an answer.

I'm working on my first construct game. It has multiple levels. Currently I'm thinking its best to have separate layouts for each level. I know how to link one layout to another and also how to connect one event sheet to multiple layouts.

But, when I make a new layout, all my objects or assets are not present on that layout. So, i have to import them all over again, and re-animate, etc... each one!

How can I share the objects between layouts so I can just plop them in there and get going?

    Thanks

  • All objects exist in the Project box in the top right panel. You just need to drag whatever object you want from there to the new layout.

Your assets obviously don't yet exist on the new layout (unless you use the duplicate option) because it's a new blank layout, but it still has access to any previously used objects.

  • Thanks
