Rolling Ball? Or just a ball?

Hello, All

I am starting a game where I have a silver ball rolling along and dodging obstacles. Should I be too worried about the graphics/ animation of the ball?

There will be other balls coming at the main ball ball in the opposite direction and the background will be scrolling with the obstacles.
