How do I "Grab(item) and throw in an opponent"

Maybe you can try "Pin Object" for the item when performing a "Grab Item" action, followed by the "Unpin Object" when you perform a "Throw Item" action?

I'm not that skilled with C2 but this seems simple to even me, you should lurk around and try a few tutorials or templates.

Try key > on collision with enemy > destroy object+trigger explode animation, something like that.

To pick up key maybe you can do character > on overlap with key+Down is pressed > pin key at x,y+trigger the character arms up animation.

Strange.. C2 usually gives a reeason why it's not opening something..

Here are the events I added:

I gave sprite8 the pin behaviour and bullet behaviour..

Set bullet behaviour disabled in properties..

Set bullet speed to 100 and gravity to 100 and bounce of solids to yes..

Maybe you could add a boolean variable to the player: IsHoldingScrew and set it to true if he is holding it and set an animation based on that variable..
