Is there a way to preload/prefire particles

Hello,

as an example: Let´s say I need a smoke column (continuous spray) at the start of the layout. The problem is, when the layout starts the particles just start shooting and you have to wait a couple of seconds before it´s actually a smoke column.

Is there an option to prefire particles before the layout starts? I couldn´t find anything in the options and google wasn´t helpful either.

No you can't.

But you can put a black mask in the screen and fade it on start of the layout, i use this trick on my game.

Well, I guess that also works Maybe in a few patches...
