Pick Sprite to Playername

Hi

How can I let player pick a sprite/character and stick it to a playername

The scenario :-)

Got a online top 10 Highscore (php,mysql)

and like to give player possibility to have a sprite/character beside it

So if I make a C2 layout where player can place Name

and pick a sprite

If you are to show this text in your game, you can try sprite font and have your characters' faces in the sprite font. Games such as Super Mario Galaxy does this.

but if you are to display this out of your game, then...that might need some other hacks.
