  • Hello everyone! My FIRST post here in the forum !!!

I work with educational games and I'm facing performance issues with those that I've made in Construct 2. I tried to import them to the format folio in DPS (Adobe Digital Publishing Suite). However when I import the HTML game into Indesign and try to preview it, the game doesn't open or works without perform properly (there is a lag that doesn't let you play the game very well).

The games that I've created have a memory use max 35mb and approx download 5mb, what I think it's not too much.

Does anyone know if this can be an issue with Construct or folio format(InDesign)?

    Thanks a lot!

  • Try playing it in Safari. It should run full performance there. (I don't know what DPS does, but it probably uses a very slow browser control.)

  • Teious,

I have used a couple different pieces I have built in C2 in folios and they have worked just fine. How are you placing it the InDesign file? Overlay Creator > Web Object?

Also, have you been able to add a line of code to keep the in-app navigation from popping up every time a user interacts?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Sorry the two months delay <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> !!!

No, I dont know what's the code to stop "the in-app navigation from popping up every time a user interacts". Can you help me with this, please?

And YES man, I place the C2 file just the way you said: Overlay Creator > Web Object. And the performance continue a sh!t, LAAAAAG!!!

And now, somebody help me please! None of my C2 projects are working in Folio (content viewer)! A black screen appears and nothing happen. Any idea man? I dont know what to do.

    Thank you!
