One Sprite Different Layouts

If in LAYOUT 1 I refer to sprite X to --- on tap go to layout 2, but in layout 2 sprite X will do something else if tapped. Both layouts using the same Events Sheet. Is this Impossible? or is there a workaround. I want to use less sprites.,. But I need this method.

You can use "LayoutName" to see which layout is currently running. Simply have your sprite do different things according to which layout is active.

So go to layout vs go to layout (by name) does different things? So if all the layouts are using the same events, then based on the ON TAP of the same sprite, it will react differently? hmm.. that would be nice. checking it rt now. thx

That's not really what I meant. After the "on tap" event, you need to add a sub-event that checks the current "LayoutName", and do something different according to its value.
