  • I am creating a simple driving game where the player has to drive a full lap. When the player hits the finish line sprite, its supposed to check if there are any instances of the flag sprite left. If there aren't any the player did a full lap, and the text is changed to "Game Over". However for some strange reason it isn't working. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Driving Sim

  • Think I fixed it.

I noticed a few issues, mainly that you didn't have a variable and that you weren't misusing from said variable. If you need more explaination of what I did, feel free to ask. Oh, and I coloured in the corners of your flags so I knew where I was driving.

Can't get it opened. It says it was created in 1.23.2 and i have 1.19 and that i needed to upgrade, but i have the latest stable version already. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

  • 1.23.2 is the latest beta build, not the latest stable. Just upgrade your version here: https://www.scirra.com/construct2/releases/r123.2

Thanks, that did the trick as well as add new tools to my tool-belt.
